Need to create great ready-to-wear garments. It is three machines in one: an Overlock, Cover Hem, and Top Cover Hem. You won't need to change the needle plate or foot for a rolled hem, and the upper looper system is easily converted for a cover hem or top cover hem.
The 1200D automatically selects the tension settings for each stitch so you can sew with comfort and confidence. You'll also find 28 optional feet and attachments. With all this, you are only limited by your imagination.
To combat vibration, the 1200D Professional Serger has a solid metal base plate. The special shock-absorbing feet attached to the bottom of the plate, dampen any residual vibration and give the machine a much smoother feel.
Threading this serger is easy thanks to an improved color-coded thread guide is printed on the machine. Set-up for 2, 3, 4 or 5-thread stitching simple and quick. Threading the lower looper has also been simplified with easy-to-reach guides.By rotating the thread guide, the lower looper thread guides will become accessible to make threading easier. The lower looper thread guide will return to its original position automatically by turning the handwheel.
The 1200D has all the premium features you would expect to find on a top end serger: Electronic speed control, retractable upper knife, snap-on feet, adjustable cutting width, and a quick conversion from the standard serger stitch to rolled hem without changing the needle plate. Just slide the needle plate to the "R" position and choose "R.H." on the lower setting slider.
Thread guides are located directly on the machine and are color coded for easy threading.
The 1200D is equipped with a unique differential feed device designed to prevent fabrics from puckering or stretching. Dials are located on the front of the machine for easy reading and access.
