Beginning Quilting using Free Motion
This beginning quilting class will teach you to piece with a few little tricks, stack your quilt, and quilt helping you to master Free Motion Quilting. We will be making a set of 4 place mats using quilting piecing techniques and free motion quilting!
We will talk about design, art, and practice.
This is a fun class and lots of practice so that you will feel comfortable by the end of the day.

Supplies:
- 1/2 yd Main Fabric
- 1/3 yd (4 different) Fabrics
- 1 yd batting
- 1 1/2 yd backing & binding
- Free motion foot
- quilting gloves, paddles or whatever you use to assist (optional) or come learn what there is
Machine, Free Motion Foot, and Basic sewing supplies
Please be prepared for class by cutting fabric into the following sizes:
1. 4 pcs 12 1/2” X 8 1/2” of Main Fabric
2. 16 pcs 3 1/2” X 10 1/2” (4 of the different fabrics)
3. 4 pcs 20” X 14” Batting
4. 4 pcs 20” X 14” Backing
