One Block Wonder Panel Quilt
Have you seen these quilts and "wondered" how they are made? Did you know they are made from just one set of 7 panels? Amazing isn't it! Why not come for a class and learn how to make your very own One Block Wonder Panel piece? Find your favorite panel or Louann help you choose the look you want and then come to class and learn how to put it all together.
What's needed to make one of these wonders
Choose a panel
- Buy 7 of the same panel (6 are for the hexagons and 1 for the center focus)
- Optional Border Fabric - Choose at the end
This is a 2-day class with the first day filled with learning about the techique and the process that is required to prepare your panels and get you started on sewing the hexagons. Thre you have a 3-week break to return home and work on sewing all those hexies together. When you come back for the 2nd day of class, we will work on the final design ideas for your quilt and discuss the finishing steps. You will then be able to put your "Wonder" together. Lots of tips and suggestions are provided to help you make it a success.

| Instructor Bio: | Louann has been a quilter for 30 years. Discovering One Block Wonder panel quilts approximately 4 years ago, she fell in love with the concept, and had to make one. Now she sees panels in a whole new way ... might it work for a OBW??? Louann loves teaching and guiding others through the process because she gets to see all their new creations and I don't have to make every one of them herself! Every OBW panel quilt helps teache her something new and is excited to share it with my students. |
