Brother & Baby Lock Club
Want to learn more about your Brother & Baby Lock sewing machine and what it can do? If so, this club is for you. In this Brother & Baby Lock Club we are going to create a foot book using the feet that came with your machine and the optional feet that are available. We will create a new page each month in our foot book with an example of what the foot for the month is designed to do. Everyone with a Brother or Baby Lock sewing machine is invited but seating is limited so sign up before the club for the month is full.
January Free-motion quilting on the table runner we have been making, or bring a quilt sandwich of some kind.
August: Self- Binding Baby Blanket, optional Embroidery
*1 1/4 yard minky
*1 1/2 yard (backing I am using silky something)
*Bring embroidery stuff if you want to embroidery. (can do it ahead email Cathy for details)
September: Quilt Show Season, Decorate a sweatshirt with Reverse Applique'
* Sweatshirt
* Quilt Block or Colorful fabric
* Sharp snips
October: Wine Bottle Bag
* Lining, Bag Making, Making a Drawstring
* 1/4" foot, edge foot, Piping foot
* 1/4 yard Main Fabric & Lining Fabric
* Batting can be craft size or 1/4 yard
Supplies to create your book:
1 Layer Cake (or 10 x 10 Squares approx. 5)
Some batting (10 x 10 squares approx. 5)
Thread (colorful)
embellishments and felt for the pages will be provided.
3rd Month of each quarter (Mar., Sept.)
Black Fabric 8 x 11
Tear away Stabilizer or Fusible Stabilizer
Colorful Thread (think Bright to show up on Black)
