Laura Heine - Collage Quilt

This art quilt is a great opportunity to try your hand at making one. You've probably seen them at shows and in magazines, and wondered how they were made. Don't worry, you don't need to be an expert seamstress. The technique combines raw-edge applique and quilting to create a unique project. The pattern uses small pieces of a wide variety of fabrics that are backed with a fusible web. The project for this class will be a pattern from Laura Heine. I planned a small sized project for people doing a collage pattern for the first time.
The pattern has 3 choices and each student will choose 1 to complete in class.
