Jelly Roll Rug
Jellyroll rugs are a delight to make and a joy to own. They are one of the easiest projects you will ever make, and the results are spectacular. The secret is in the pre-cut, coordinated fabric strips. These come in a variety of designs and colors, which opens up lots of possibilities. The stitching level is very basic, using a zig-zag stitch to connect the strips. The fabric strips are wrapped around a strip of batting, which provides the cushioning for the rug.
Supplies
one jellyroll
batting strips 2.5" wide, or On-a-roll batting (two rolls)
Sewing machine with a zig-zag stitch
start h or sizing spray, optional but recommended
Wonderclips or quilt clips
thread to match or coordinate with jelly roll
scissors
