Mylar Merry Christmas
It’s never too early to think CHRISTMAS! Join the Sew Vac City Christmas Club and
make a gorgeous Christmas tree skirt for 2026.
The 2026 Christmas project is a 9-panel tree skirt using Purely Gates Embroidery
designs and Christmas tree skirt pattern. Nine designs from the Mylar Merry Christmas collection have been selected for the Christmas tree skirt project. A 5”x7” embroidery hoop is required for the stitch-outs.
Stitching a Purely Gates Mylar Embroidery® Design is the same as stitching any
machine embroidery design except for adding Mylar at a specific color stop and
removing excess Mylar at a specific color stop. Other than that, there is no difference.
Purely Gates Mylar gives the design that wonderful sparkle and shine. The Purely
Gates Mylar is the Opalescent color of the iridescent tissue.
You don’t need a special needle.
You don’t need special stabilizer.
You don’t need special thread.
The Sew Vac City Christmas Club will meet in April, May, August and September.
